For the company’s local sales and logistics subsidiary in France, we are seeking an accomplished Director Sales (all genders). The ideal candidate will bring several years of experience in both operational and strategic B2B sales, coupled with a proven track record in leading a field sales force. Outstanding analytical capabilities, domestic outdoor trade expertise and network, a strong ability to shape and execute business strategies are essential to this role.
DIE AUFGABENSTELLUNG
- Technical and disciplinary leadership responsibility for 9 employees (office-based and in the field)
- Full responsibility for sales and logistics in France (annual turnover €10 million), with direct impact on corporate strategy and business objectives; ensuring efficient and seamless logistics operations
- Development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve corporate goals in the local sales area as well as globally
- Identification and integration of innovative technologies and materials to drive product and process improvement
- Building and maintaining relationships with dealers and business partners
- Monitoring market trends and identifying new business opportunities to support growth and competitiveness
IHR PROFIL
- Bachelor and/or master’s degree in business administration, marketing or industrial engineering
- Professional background in sales with a proven track record of success; ideally combined with several years of leadership experience and in-depth knowledge of the French B2B market (Outdoor)
- Empathetic and relationship-driven leadership style, with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to open, constructive feedback culture
- Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as strong cost awareness
- Solid experience in MS Office and modern ERP systems
- Fluent in French, both written and spoken, as well as very good language skills in English or German
